HOW IT WORKS
Hiring a professional voice-over for the first time, or even for the tenth time, can sometimes be a touch confusing. There are many ways of going about it, and getting the best from their services to ensure you get the best product possible.

So, let's talk about how it works, what you can expect, what you need to communicate, and how to make the entire process nice and easy.
STEP 1: GET IN TOUCH
Feel free to contact me via email (sebastian@sbvoices.co.uk) by phone (077920054049) or by using the contact form on my website.

Take this opportunity to outline your project and let me know any of the following, word count, budget, deadline, timing of the video, or overall project, and performance notes.

And of course, if you don't have all or even any of this information, don't worry! You can still get in touch, and we can work things out as we go.
STEP 2: RECEIVE A CUSTOM SAMPLE
Once we have discussed the project in more detail, I'll then provide you with one or more custom samples, so you can hear my voice, my purpose built home studio and the direction I am heading for your project.

If you are not happy with the samples, then we will continue to discuss the project while we fine tune the sound you need.

But if you are happy with the samples, then we can move on to putting in place a recording session.
STEP 3: RECORDING YOUR PROJECT
Now it's time to record your voiceover, and there are two options for this process.

- A self record: this means that having discussed the project in enough length and detail, you are happy for me to record on my own, and send you the various takes.

- A live directed session: this means that you would like to listen into the recording, and direct me as I work. This is always great if you'd like to hear some variations, and try out some different styles during the session.
I have many ways of connecting into my recording space, including Zoom, Skype, Google Meets, Source Connect and Cleanfeed. If you have a preferred method then don't hesitate to let me know.

There is more information about my studio and connecting for live directed sessions available on my studio page.
STEP 4: RECEIVING YOUR FILES
After the recording session, I will send you the completed files via we-transfer or another appropriate file-sharing method. You can have the files in MP3, WAV, AIFF, or any other format you require.

Once you have received the files you can take the time you need to review them and ensure they are exactly what you need.
STEP 5: FINALISING YOUR PROJECT
If under any circumstances you need revisions or amendments, these are dealt with in different ways. A small minor amendment to a line due to a mispronunciation or a change of a word is no problem, one round of revisions is included as standard.

However, major script changes or rewrites after a script is submitted for recording will incur charges depending on the amount of work required.

Once the project is completed, and any amendments have been submitted, you'll receive an invoice from me, and the project is complete.

And remember, if the work is being showcased anywhere, don't forget to inform your voice actor, we don't often get to see our finished work so when we do, it's a wonderful thing.
